Shopping online and watching your favorite shows on Netflix will be pricier soon as the House Committee on Ways and Means approves the bill seeking to charge 12% Value Added Tax (VAT) on several local and foreign companies that provide goods thru digital platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and Spotify among others.

Apple unveiled both products at WWDC 2019, and had been anticipated by many fans ever since. The brand new 16-inch MacBook Pro comes with new keyboard, high-resolution display and powerful processors. Apple claimed it to be “the world’s best pro desktop, and Apple Pro Display XDR, the world’s best pro display.”

Google has to comply with the new trade blacklist which includes Huawei and 68 of its subsidiaries. The said bar was enacted since last week after the Chinese tech giant was place on the Entity List. This bars the company from purchasing equipment from U.S. companies unless it gets approval from the government. However, Commerce Department is unlikely to give the permission as of the moment.
